Socrates ridden by Sophie Brown (Team Leader)
Sophie is the team leader and this will be be the third time she has taken part in the Parade. Sophie competes with her team of show horses all over the country and has gained some incredible achievements including being Supreme Champion of Great Britain two years running. Socrates or Soxx to his friends belongs to the Spooner family and they have very kindly allowed Sophie to use him during the Parade. Soxx took part in the Parade for the first time last year with Sophie’s sister in law Hannah riding him. Soxx has had a varied life and competed in most disciplines and is now enjoying a quieter life and mostly hacking out and spending time in the field playing with his friends.

Question Master ridden by Claire Goodwin-Hill
Question Master or 'Jamie' as he is known on the yard, is my 16.1hh Irish Sports Horse. He is a bay gelding and will be 24 in 2016! Jamie came over from Ireland as a 3 year old and spent most of his younger years jumping BSJA. I have owned him for the last 4 years and shared looking after him for 2 years before that. We have spent 2015 hacking out on the Bramshill Forest next to where Jamie lives and competing at local level showing. We have had a successful show season winning lots of turnout classes, sidesaddle and also competing in our first ridden Veteran Class sideways. Jamie is very cheeky and loves treats and a good scratch just by his withers! This is the second time we have entered the LNYDP and we are both very excited about it! Looking forward to seeing everyone on the day! Happy New Year 2016! Claire and Jamie X

Nellie, owned by Lorraine Price and ridden by Charlotte Thompson
I have been riding since the age of 4, starting out with my coloured Shetland Peanuts and moving my way through ponies and horses and riding on teams for Bisley Hunt Pony Club in Eventing, Area Eventing, and showjumping collecting great results along the way. I have also worked with horses all my life and have worked with some of the best show jumpers and breeders in the UK. I now compete as an amateur in BS,BE on my 17.2 barefoot coloured warmblood. She's 19 years old 16.hh warmblood mare and is out regularly winning and competing in BS,she is a grumpy old mare but she is always willing to please and happy to do anything you ask of her! This will be our first Parade and we are super excited to be involved. Charlotte and Nellie X

Archie ridden by Emma Richardson-Steele
Emma Richardson-Steele is founder and chairman of Bicester Riding Club and a keen side saddle rider. I have been riding for most of my life having been inspired by watching Black Beauty as a child.
I will be riding my new horse Archie who has a very successful career as a show cob. He is now enjoying a more varied life as a Riding Club horse, taking part in dressage, jumping, quadrille, hacks and this summer, we discovered his love of swimming in the sea.
This is our first ever parade and we are very much looking forward to taking part!

Rosie ridden by Warren Bushaway
Warren and Rosie are a fairly new partnership. Having bought Rosie from Sophie ( the team leader ) earlier this year they have already achieved so much . Rosie was bought unbroken and has been carefully produced during the summer months and has attended a select handful of training shows and has proved herself to be a genuine , bold ,careful horse with plenty of scope over a fence . Warren hopes to compete in some cross country and show jumping events with Rosie next year and continue her education . This will be both Rosie and Warren’s first parade and they are very much looking forward to it .
