For hundreds of years the Scott's have had clans. These were groups of families and villages each with there own region within Scotland. Each Clan has there own specific tartan which is a woven fabric of many different colours and patterns. Each member of our team will be wearing a different tartan in the Parade to represent clans from all over Scotland.

Archie ridden by Mollie Harvey
Archie (Loxleyvale Fine Art) is an 11year old Native British Spotted Pony. We were first introduced to Archie in September this year by my friend whose daughter could no longer ride him. She asked if Mollie would ride him for a while as he had been out of work for almost a year with a view to selling him. After a very short time of him being with us Mollie fell in love with him, and persuaded me ( as only a daughter can ) that we should buy him, and with his friendly, cheeky, fun-loving attitude I had to agree with her. Since then Mollie and Archie have spent many hours hacking around home, been to Pony Club rallies, been team show jumping members, and are now part of the local Pony Club Games team. She is looking forward to an active summer with Archie, taking part in lots of shows and Pony Club activities.

Huckleberry Pie ridden by Steffanie Singleton (team leader)
Big P or Pie as he is known at home is a 15.2hh, 5 years old traditional gypsy vanner. He was bought from Gary Pigney and the Harvey family in June 2014 when Steffanie returned from a riding instructors job in Dubai. Buying him originally to show, Pie has proved to be capable of that and so much more.
In his first season in the ring he has taken a couple of supreme titles, won and qualified for the CHAPS Championships on his affiliated debut and also went on to win at the championships. Aside from showing, Pie has also helped out the local riding for the disabled as a spare horse. He also takes part in all riding club events and recently started carriage driving. He is a true all rounder in every sense of the word and we can't wait to add the London New Year's Day parade to our long list of achievements!

Colour Me Crazy ridden by Emily-Mae Cousins
Known as Cheyenne to here friends, she is an 18 years old, 15hh Appaloosa that belongs to Steffanie Singleton. She was purchased from a Holmfirth horse auction 8 years ago, where she was going to the meat man. Not knowing what she had let herself in for, the first couple of years owning Cheyenne proved rather difficult as it became clear she had not had the best start in life. Over the years they have developed a strong bond and have enjoyed competing in all Riding Club events and attending riding of the marches. Six months ago Emily began to loan Cheyenne and they have quickly become a great partnership, taking part in dressage and showing together. It will be Emily's first time riding at a big event like this and she is let's say just a tad excited about the whole experience!
